Virtual address in the United States for Brazilians
A US virtual address lets someone managing a US company while living in Brazil have a real United States address to receive business correspondence — without needing a physical office. It's different from the registered agent, which is a specific legal requirement for receiving official state documents.
What a virtual address solves
In practice, whoever manages an American company from Brazil needs to provide a US address in everyday situations: bank registration, vendors, payment platforms, corporate cards, correspondence from government agencies. A virtual address handles this by receiving and digitizing (or forwarding) that mail.
What a virtual address does not solve
It doesn't replace the registered agent required by law in every US state — that's a specific legal function, usually provided by specialized companies or by the company formation service itself. It also doesn't guarantee, by itself, acceptance at any bank or institution — each institution has its own rules about what it accepts as a valid business address.
When it makes sense to contract
It makes sense for practically any company run from Brazil without a physical US office. It's usually not necessary for those who already have their own physical business address in the country.
